A recent addition to agi‘s product portfolio is the diamond encapsulation solution which is ideal for pawnbrokers or retailers of loose diamonds. Combining secure, tamper evident, packaging together with basic certification of a diamond’s major characteristics, the DBX enables the retailer to add value and create an effective retail product.
The diamond is mounted in a carrier and heat sealed within a customised plastic unit. On the rear of the unit is a window which displays the certificate. The certificate shows the agi gradings of cut, colour and clarity, together with the carat weight and stone measurements. Once the unit is opened it cannot be resealed, hence maintaining the integrity of stone and certificate.
This product can be custom designed to suit customer requirements (subject to volume) and incorporate their branding and logos.
